Archival Consultant—Institutional Fees
Collection assessment fees for institutions with budgets $20,000 or less.
Needs-Assessment: These assessments are related to policies and best practices.
This type of assessment in not related to assessing collections on site, but to assist institutions to determine if their policies follow best practices, and what need to be done to bring standards up to date. These assessment are done remotely. Includes, but not limited to pre-survey questionnaire, in-depth interview, and document analysis.
- Standard two-day assessment and report: $1,200 flat fee
- Standard two-day assessment and report: $1,600 flat fee
- Standard two-day assessment with report: $3,500

Archival Consultant—Private collections
Private collection assessments. $800 per day.
Processing personal papers: $50 per hour plus travel fees and cost of rehousing materials(Processing collections include survey of collection, rehousing, organizing, and creating finding aids.)
Note: Due to a breach of security with my business PayPal, I will no longer be using this platform for payments.
Instead, a retainer fee is required within two weeks before start of project in the form of a bank certified check, and final payment upon receipt of report will be paid with a bank certified check.
